The Incoming Appraisal Process includes, but is not limited to, the following activities:

Identification of supplier material
Appraisal of procured material
Movement and control of material
Control of nonconforming material
Control of drawings, documentation and change notices
Maintenance and control of measuring and test equipment
Basic Qualifications
Will be required to pass standard test for skill and knowledge of industry standards
1. Ability to access Incoming Inspection Plans in the form of computer terminal displays via the SAP Common Operating System (COS) or similar Material Requisitioning and Provisioning (MRP) systems.
2. Capability to perform incoming appraisal per the Inspection Plan. Perform random Sampling or 100% inspection for each characteristic included in the Incoming Inspection Plan and verify conformance to all requirements and directives listed by characteristics for each specific drawing part number.
3. Ability to read and interpret Lockheed Martin, Industry Standard, and Military Drawings.
4. Ability to access and navigate purchase orders in the SAP Procure to Pay (P2P) system.
5. Ability to access the Government Cage Code Database or the Cage Code look-up table in MRP Systems to determine supplier Cage Code when otherwise unidentifiable.
6. Ability to utilize precision measuring equipment (i.e. calipers, micrometers, dial gages, etc.)
7. Ability to verify measuring and test equipment is calibrated, within its calibration cycle and of sufficient accuracy to perform the required measurements.
8. Knowledge of Protection and Handling of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Sensitive Devices.
9. Ability to process and record shelf life material.
10. Adequately perform and document First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 when specified by the Inspection Plan or directed by the Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer. If performed by the supplier, as indicated by receipt of a FAI report, the Appraisers shall review the suppliers FAI report for completeness. Defects noted by the appraiser will be rejected and sent to the Non-Conforming Material hold area.
11. Must be able to document in MRP systems any data discrepancies for lot rejection and describe the actual defect information in the Inspection Lot. Ability to segregate all defective units from complaint material and forward the lot to the appropriate staging area.
12. Ability to lift 25 lbs. independently.
13. Able to maintain Hazardous Material Certification
